HELP THE CHILD TO GROW!!!

The time has come when we have to dig deep into the realities of today's family lives, this time not talking about dads, mums or others. Lets take a look on how our growing kids, "Leaders of tomorrow" as people would say some times back, are being treated as they grow up.
As a matter of fact, i would consider any child growing up in the village and attending school from there to be more privileged than a 'born-town' kid. Young kids in our urban centres today are facing unnecessary harsh treatment from their parents. Perhaps you are wondering how, well, lets look into that in the next paragraph.
Not once have i been stuck in a traffic jam in our Nairobi roads early in the mornings. It looks amazing when i decide to look around the road as i compare the car models that these desperate civil servants heading to work  are sitting on.In most of these vehicles, you are likely to find sleeping kids in their school uniforms, ofcourse heading to school.
What these parents do is that they wake up their children very early in the morning and prepare them for school. So as to avoid the traffic jam, some may leave the house as early as 5:00am in the morning with their children in the vehicles.
If i were to give my own opinion on this issue, this could be exerting alot of pressure on the growing being. Try and talk to many  parents on this issue, the response is obvious, "But am doing it for the benefit of the kid...." Dear beloved parents, i beg to disagree with you on this popular statement that you always make. The fact is that you actually wake your kids early up in the morning for your own selfish benefits, always trying to fit your kid in your day's program just as you do to your other daily duties.
Anyway, am not going to stop having mercy on your sleeping kids in your car every morning, stuck in the traffic jam and yet waiting for a long day in their classrooms. Lets give our kids a conducive environment to study as well as to grow, help them grow, do not just have them grow. It would be better to have your lazy house girl dropping them off to school at the favourable time or even organize with your boss to be getting to work an hour later and leave an hour later. That way, your kids get to enjoy every bit of their lessons in school and have a relaxed mind always.
Help your kid to grow, don't just have the kid grow, give them  priority over your other selfish life goals.

APPRECIATING OUR TALENTS.

Hallo hello...its long since i shared something with you guys but i think its time i put something in your head. Many are the times we see people driving big machines (cars/automobiles), living in big and good houses and generally leading a good life. I believe that this kind of success is fueled by a number of fund generating tactics, using ones talent being one of these tactics.
Many people claim not to know their talents, but you may never know...may be your talent is reading this article...anyway, i got a simple word of advice, "Get working and it is through this that you gonna know your talent"
One funny thing that i have found out about talents is that when people talk about them, many guys think that singing, rapping, athletics, poetry, writing, comedy and acting are the only talents that one can posses. To me, this kind of thinking is quite limiting. It is time that we realize talents are diverse and equal when well utilized. I know one may not agree with me on this but lets take an example......am a rapper and Usain Bolt is an athlete, if i produce a hit hip hop song and do all the necessary shows, it will give me the same amount of cash that Usain can win after practicing for six months for a forth coming athletic tournament.
What am simply saying is that lets work hard to discover our talents. As a gold miner digs kilometers into the ground to search for gold, so should we dig deep into our strengths, weaknesses, character...among others so as to find what God placed deep within us. It's never easy.
Appreciate your talent by using it to help yourself, others, and never forget to use it to Glorify your maker...G.O.D. Blessings.
